Dr. Lyudmyla (Luda) Ushakova is a seasoned dentist with over three decades of expertise across various facets of dentistry.

Dr. Ushakova embarked on her dental carrier at the Poltava Medical Stomatological Academy, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. Her passion for dentistry soon led her across continents, as she relocated to Canada with her family. Since 1999, she has been a stalwart presence in the Canadian dental landscape, serving in both private practices and government dental offices.

Dr. Ushakova thrives in the dynamic environment of a family dental practice. From the young patients  to our beloved seniors, she delivers comprehensive dental services with unwavering compassion and precision. Her commitment to patient comfort is evident through her certification to administer nitrous oxide and oral sedation during procedures. Dr. Ushakova’s pursuit of excellence extends beyond her initial education; she has dedicated thousands of hours to continuing education, ensuring that her patients receive the finest dental treatment.

As a proud member of the Ontario Dental Association for over 25 years, Dr. Ushakova remains at the forefront of dental advancements. Her multilingual abilities—fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian—further enhance her ability to provide personalized care to a diverse patient base.

When not perfecting smiles, Dr. Ushakova can be found on the waters of Hamilton Bay, training with her team of dragon boat paddlers, aptly named Knot A Breast. Her zest for life extends to culinary delights, as she savors delicious cuisines from around the world. Dr. Ushakova is exploring new horizons and creating memories.
